Image Maps

As you can see its pretty simple. All that is required is to add a new usemap property to the image tag and set it to the name of our links map. Then we can write the map itself. All co-ordinates are relative to the top left hand corner of the image. You can have three types of area shap, a rectangle in which case the four co-ordinates you supply are those of two diagonal corners x,y,X,Y, or a circle in which case you supply the center and the diameter X,Y,D or a poly (gon) in which case you supply X,Y co-ordinates for each vertex.
