Adding Images

Gosh that is starting to look almost professional now I added the copyright footer... try changing the image tags on the page above and check what happens!

The most common reason an image fails to display is that you got the source (src) attribute wrong. Remember filenames are case sensitive even if URL's are not. So http://www.mysite.com/Pic2.jpg is not the same as http://www.mysite.com/pic2.jpg or http://www.mysite.com/pic2.JPG. Relative addressing (used in our example above) can also cause some problems. If the image file is in the same directory as the html file that refers to it then it is fine to use the file name only as we have here. If the images are in a subdirectory (as they often are) called images then they could be referred to by images/eddie.jpg or http://www.webmaster-a.com/images/eddie.jpg which is the full url.
